Biography

As an alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard Business School, biotechnology executive Raj Prabhakar currently serves Celsion Corporation as its Executive Director for Strategic Planning and Business development. In this role, he holds responsibility for the commercialization and out-licensing process for the company's oncology drug products in both the United States and Asia Pacific Territories. Working to bring Celsion together with companies like China's HISUN Pharmaceutical Company or Japan's Yakult Honsha, Raj Prabhakar has developed expertise in the Asian region to help bring novel cancer drug candidates to market.

Prior to joining Celsion Corporation in 2004, Raj Prabhakar held corporate development roles at Osiris Therapeutics, a leading biotech firm focused on stem cell therapeutics. He has also worked for Protiveris as director of corporate development, overseeing research and development partnerships and sales target identification in the nanotechnology sector.
